Every ride has a story. Here is how to tell yours.

A favorite car, boat, motorcycle or off-road rig is more than a list of specifications. It might be the project you finished with family, the vehicle you finally found after years of searching, or the reason you met a new group of friends. Stories & Spotlights is a place for those details.

Start with the moment that matters
Think back to the first time you saw your ride. What caught your attention? Why did you choose it? A specific memory gives readers something to connect with, whether your vehicle is a polished showpiece or an unfinished project.

Share the work behind it
Tell us what you changed, what you kept original and what you learned. Give credit to the people and local businesses that helped. If a detail is uncertain, say so rather than guessing. You do not need a perfect restoration to have a story worth sharing.

Choose photos that tell the story
A clear overall view is a good place to start. Add the details you love, a before-and-after pair if you have one, and a photo from a memorable outing. Use your own photos or get permission from the photographer. Leave private documents, addresses and contact information out of the images.

Bring it back to the community
What do you enjoy doing with your ride around Lake Havasu and the tri-state area? Perhaps it is a club gathering, a weekend outing or simply meeting people who share the interest. Explain what makes those moments special to you.
